Adults and Grief
Overview
Everybody copes with grief differently. You may feel shocked or frustrated. You may feel disappointed or let down. Or you may feel disoriented, disorganized or out of control.
As a life-threatening illness progresses, you and your family will develop mechanisms to cope with grief. You may, however, also need to talk with someone about the complicated feelings you or someone in your family is having.
In this section, you can learn about the phases of grief and the counseling, therapy and other options you have in coping with the loss of a family member.
